Amla is derived from the Indian Gooseberry (Phyllanthus Emblica) and commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine. It’s known to assist with mild skin conditions on the face, but predominantly the application and benefits are on the hair and scalp. High in vitamin C and antioxidants, it is used to protect the hair and skin from damage. The scalp and hair follicles are nourished, dandruff and dry scalp symptoms are improved and has reported a reduction in hair loss and promotion of hair growth. As the hair becomes healthier, people notice reduced premature pigment loss and signs of greying.

Ingredients: Emblica Officinalis (Amla) Fruit Extract, Helianthus Annuus (High Oleic Sunflower) Seed Oil

Usage:  Apply the oil to the scalp for one or two hours, then rinse off. The mixture can also be left on overnight or until the next shower or bath. There are some reports of an itchy reaction (which is contact dermatitis) and should discontinue if this occurs.
